The Clinical Nutrition team at Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking a passionate Registered Dietitian to work in the Aerodigestive Clinic (ADC).

The Aerodigestive Center is a multidisciplinary center consisting of gastroenterology, pulmonology, feeding, nutrition, social work and nursing. The center cares for children with complex respiratory, feeding, and digestive issues who need state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic interventions by a team of specialists in aerodigestive medicine. The mission of the center is to improve the quality of life of children by addressing all of the feeding, gastrointestinal, pulmonary and social needs of children with complex medical problems.

Key Responsiblities:

  • Providing nutritional care to patients within specific inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Evaluating the medical, biochemical, and nutritional information and assessing patient needs in order to develop and implement the most appropriate nutrition care plans.
  • Assisting in the supervision of the daily work of the dietetic technician.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in nutrition

Experience:

  • Three (3) plus years of progressive experience in Dietetics with at least two (2) years in pediatric nutrition

Certifications/Licensure:

  • Registration by Commission on Dietetic Registration, the Credentialing agency of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, as a Registered Dietitian
  • Licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a licensed Dietitian.
