Our Outpatient Specialty Pharmacy provides fully integrated services to deliver the best possible care to our patients. The Boston Children’s care team is comprised of pharmacy liaisons and clinical pharmacists that work together to support clinical teams, and our patients and their families.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Doctorate degree in Pharmacy preferred.

Experience:

• One plus years of experience as a Specialty pharmacist, or 10+ years retail experience preferred
• Experience filling prescriptions using Epic Willow Ambulatory (WAM) is highly desirable.
• CSP not required , but helpful
• Analytical skills to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional principles in performing various analyses, and summarize the information and data to solve problems OR design relatively complex systems and programs.
• Communication skills to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and mediate fair solutions, or well‑developed writing skills.

Licensure:

• Current license and registration by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy.

The Specialty Pharmacy is open 8:30AM – 5pm, M-F.
