The Advanced practice role is responsible for collaborative management of patients within inpatient medical surgical, critical care, or hybrid (ambulatory and inpatient medical/surgical) care neighborhoods. Role requires integration of knowledge, research, and experience to promote excellence in patient care and improve outcomes. Communicates and collaborates clearly and concisely with the health care team; appropriately consult and utilize resources to meet the patient’s needs; and actively participate in patient discharge planning, Requires flexibility, and excellent clinical, organizational and communication skills.

Float APRN’s will be eligible for an $8/hour specialty differential.
This role offers a competitive sign‑on bonus ranging from $5,000 to $20,000, based on your experience. (who have not worked at BCH in the past 2 years).

  • Working 36 hours per week with 50% day/night rotation and every third weekend. Float APRNs will not be required to work holidays.

Minimum Qualifications
Education:

  • Master of Science in Nursing

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of Nurse Practitioner experience preferred
  • Pediatric experience preferred

Licensure/ Certifications:

  • A current Massachusetts NP license
  • Certification as a Pediatric or Family Nurse Practitioner
